When Esperanza had to sweep the platform she had told the people she knew how but she lied, because she didn’t know how to do it. After all, Esperanza faced some problems and challenges, some of her challenges were… facing Mama being sick and when her mama got sick she had to work for her. Esperanza did not know how to do a lot of things and she handles and deals with problems. Then, Esperanza’s mother gets sick and then the 2 twins get sick from a fruit. In Esperanza Rising, the book is about papa's death, and them moving on to another country and starting over. Pages 4 Immigration involves moving from our home country to another in order to start over and have a better life.
